RSS Aggregators / Feeds
So here I am - finally made it to Week 4 of the Learning 2.0 Basics. I can't see myself getting involved in this on a regular basis as the sheer volume of information / data available just through the 5 feeds I have added is mind blowing.

My Flickr
Today I am browsing through scads of images, and feeling a bit awkward. I am wondering why people have found it necessary to share their photographs with strangers.
I am trying to find something interesting and relevant to me, but I really don't have the time. I would much rather be spending this time with my own photographs, which badly need to be culled and organised into something manageable.
However, I did find this rather beautiful photograph Fog over San Franciso, and it reminded me of our recent trip and that we actually didn't experience any foggy days, so I don't have anything like this in my photographic collection.

What's in a blog?
Today I got to first base and am about to create my very first blog.
I am yet to be convinced of their value in public libraries - I am struggling to imagine that we will have anything unique and interesting to say that will appeal to the masses.
Or, is it just for our own self-gratification?
Of course, I may just be showing my age!
